Arguably the best of the Sid & Marty Krofft shows of the 70's, Land of the Lost features the adventures of
Marshall, Will and Holly, who, on a routine expedition, met the greatest earthquake ever known.
High on the rapids, it shook their tiny raft and sent them down a thousand feet below to the
Land of the Lost. Discover the wonders of Dopey the dinosaur, stone soup, Paku, pylons and best
of all - the Sleestak!
Personal:
The WriterGroupie grew up with the many wonderful Krofft shows, but her favorite was always
Land of the Lost. Whether it was the fantastic/SF elements or the stories being a cut
above the rest of the Krofft offerings, this show has a fond place in the WriterGroupie's heart
to this day.
