Date: 11/10/04 Yeah, okay, so I haven't updated my site in a month of Sundays. Doesn't mean I've stopped my life as a WriterGroupie. In the past few weeks I went to a booksigning by the amazing, fabulous, brilliant and wonderful (can you tell I like her books?) Laurell K. Hamilton, for her latest Anita Blake book Incubus Dreams. I hope to have pics of the event online soon. I also went to a writer-friend's birthday party where I got to sit at a table full of other writer-friends and listen to them discuss their latest projects (always cool). I had lunch with another writer-friend who's got only about a billion projects in the works, so that's impressive. And I've been working on and contemplating working on some of my own writing projects. In my current reading pile is Gene Simmons' Sex Money Kiss. Not as much fun as his first autobio KISS and Make-up as this is more his business approach to life. I'm also reading (slowly) Holy Blood, Holy Grail, the book that Dan Brown apparently used as the basis for his Da Vinci Code which I haven't read yet as I wanted to read the non-fiction version first. Next I want to find time to read Incubus Dreams and Jasper Fforde's latest and greatest in the Thursday Next series. The next book I plan on buying is Clay Aiken's autobiography Learning To Sing which, word has it, is a real tear-jerker inspiring story. I also plan on attending the local yearly literary science fiction convention, LosCon and if there are any interesting stories that can be repeated, I'll report them later this month. Till next time, gentle readers...
