I'll preface this by saying this is the only CD I own that's not in English. I'm not a fan of opera, nor have I heard much of Mr. Bocelli's other work. But I had heard several songs from this album (thanks to several figure skaters choosing them for their programs) and was quite taken by not only the extraordinary texture of Mr. Bocelli's voice, but the soaring passion in his singing and the sheer musical quality of the songs. Probably more pop than opera, I found this album accessible and alluring and I often sing along to it, even if I don't understand the Italian words that I'm singing! Simply a wonderful album that fans of extraordinary voices (such as Clay fans) will truly appreciate.
