Celebrating the Writer

WriterGroupie's Clay Aiken Page

About Clay Aiken:

This future superstar was just an aspiring special ed teacher when he tried out for the hit show American Idol. Making geek chic, the North Carolina native made it all the way to the final two in season two and has since outshined 'winner' Ruben Studdard as Clay's CD sales and multiple sold-out tours have clearly outperformed Ruben's.

Personal:

The WriterGroupie picked Clay out as her favorite from his first audition as someone whose gorgeous voice is only matched by his sweet personality. When the show reached its Top Twelve of that season, the WriterGroupie attended an industry-only event called American Idol - Live! where she got to meet her Idol, Clay! She's since followed his career, buying his CDs as soon as they come out and attending his tours. She looks forward to following the career of this extraordinary young man for a very, very long time to come.
