Publication Date: 2000 About the book: While even the WriterGroupie admits the hubris (and the marketing machine) involved in publishing an autobiography of someone younger than 30 years old, based on about two years of fame, she was still curious to read the book. Would it be told as "The Rock", Dwayne Johnson's character in WWE, or would it be told by Dwayne Johnson, former football player, and son and grandson of professional wrestling greats? Fortunately, for the most part, it's the latter. Not quite as compelling a read as fellow wrestler Mick Foley's book,
Have a Nice Day, but then, the Rock doesn't have nearly as many years of pro-wrestling and
life experience to write about. Yet. But his book is still definitely worth checking out.
