Celebrating the Writer

Jonathan M. Woodward

About the actor:

Jonathan M. Woodward first gained critical notice for his turn as Emma Thompson's doctor in the acclaimed Mike Nichols' HBO production "Wit". But he really started turning fans' heads when the producers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast him as vampire Holden Webster in the seventh season episode "Conversations With Dead People". Though his character did not survive, the producers clearly liked the huge impression he made on the fans because they quickly cast him as the potentially recurring character of Knox in the fourth season finale of spinoff show Angel, setting him up as a potential love interest for shy girl Fred.

Personal:

Jonathan's work as "Holden" in Buffy knocked the WriterGroupie's socks off and she was very pleased to see him turn up on Angel. The WriterGroupie predicts big things are in store for this extremely talented young actor.
