About the actor:
Snarky, sarcastic and simply irresistible, Gordon Michael Woolvett grabbed the hearts of many fans
when he first appeared as the wisecracking but brilliant engineer Seamus Harper in the first episode
of Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. But you
might also recognize him from his other (Canadian) science fiction series Mission Genesis
aka Deepwater Black in which he co-starred with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
and The Dead Zone's Nicole de Boer. He also
appeared in various TV series and movies including Forever Knight and horror flick "Bride of Chucky". He
recently penned an episode of Andromeda called
"Vault of the Heavens".
Almost as much of a 'tech geek' as his alter ego, Harper, Woolvett has been known in his spare
time to build a hovercraft and to design websites.
Personal:
The WriterGroupie has had the pleasure of meeting Gordon on multiple occasions. She finds him to
be funny, charming and a very accessible down-to-earth guy. She adores his character, Harper,
and she's not just saying that because she sold a story
about him.
